About Dr. Tutty
"Dr. Tutty" is Dr. Steve Tutty, a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in child, forensic and neuropsychology.
He spent his first ten years in the field counseling children, mostly with ADHD and autism, and adults with depression. He went on to co-author randomized clinical trials, including an ADHD study with Harlan Gephart, MD and a series of telephone therapy studies for depression with Greg Simon, MD, starting in 2000. He has more than 30 years of clinical and forensic practice and more than 20 years of teaching, research and publishing. He is a National Health Scholar.
He has East Coast roots, and years of visiting his adult children, who came to New York for college, made the city feel like home. Outside work he hikes along the Hudson and in the Catskills.
